We are seeking an experienced and motivated Translation Business Development Manager to join Stepes’ fast-growing global team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in enterprise sales, be a hunter type with a proactive approach, and have a results-oriented mindset. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to grow our translation services business.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and target new business opportunities within the enterprise market
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers
- Develop and execute sales plans and strategies to meet revenue targets
- Stay up-to-date with the latest localization industry trends and translation technology solutions
- Articulate our translation service offerings and effectively communicate the benefits to potential clients
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create and implement lead-generation campaigns
- Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to potential clients
- Negotiate contracts and close deals
- Provide ongoing account management to retain and grow existing business
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise sales with a proven track record of success
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
- Knowledge of the latest localization industry trends and modern translation technology solutions
- Strong relationship-building and networking skills
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented approach
- Ability to travel as needed
- Foreign language skills are a plus.
