Stepes, a rapidly growing global language translation company, is seeking a Finance Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing client invoicing and payments, as well as working with the technical team to implement robust project billing/payment automation solutions. The candidate will also be responsible for developing better financial reports for each customer account using workflow automation solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of client invoicing and payments, including setting up new clients in the billing system, sending invoices, and ensuring timely payment of invoices.
- Work with the technical team to implement robust project billing/payment automation solutions that will streamline billing processes, reduce manual errors, and ensure accurate and timely payments.
- Develop better financial reports for each customer account automatically that will provide insights into customer spending and help identify opportunities to improve profitability.
- Manage the company’s financial records, including general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
- Prepare financial reports and analysis for management, including monthly and annual financial statements.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying trends and making recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments within the company to provide financial insights and support for business decisions.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Manage relationships with banks, auditors, and other financial institutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting.
- Experience with project billing/payment automation solutions and financial reporting systems.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software applications.
