We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated Product Development Manager to join our fast-growing software development team at Stepes, the leading provider of professional translation services to global enterprises. As a key member of our R&D team, you will drive our development efforts for the next-gen cloud translation management platform, ensuring that tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the product development team, ensuring that everyone is working towards common goals and deadlines
- Drive the development process for our cloud-based translation management system from start to finish, ensuring that projects are executed efficiently and effectively
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, project management, translation, and marketing, to ensure smooth and seamless product development for the platform
- Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to stakeholders on the development of our cloud-based translation management system
- Identify and resolve roadblocks and risks that may impact project timelines for our cloud-based translation management system
- Stay up-to-date with market trends (including the latest AI and machine learning developments) and competitor activities in the translation management space, and make recommendations for product improvements
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a product development manager, with a track record of delivering successful products to market
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of product development processes and methodologies, specifically in the translation management space
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, specifically in the context of developing cloud-based translation management systems
- Foreign language skills are a plus
