Position Overview:

Stepes is seeking a passionate Website Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in modern web design practices and technologies, with a pronounced background in UI design. This role demands proficiency in CSS, WordPress, JavaScript, HTML5, React, Sass, and PHP. As our website designer, you’ll be instrumental in creating intuitive, visually compelling designs that resonate with our diverse clientele and reinforce our industry-leading reputation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conceptualize, design, and develop user-centric website layouts using WordPress, React, and other relevant tools.
  2. Collaborate closely with our marketing, content, and IT teams to ensure designs align with Stepes’ objectives and brand standards.
  3. Optimize websites for maximum speed, scalability, and responsive design across all devices and browsers.
  4. Implement designs using technologies like JavaScript, CSS3, Sass, HTML5, and PHP.
  5. Stay updated with the latest web design trends, tools, and technologies, ensuring Stepes remains at the forefront of the industry.
  6. Manage routine website maintenance and updates.
  7. Solicit and implement feedback from users to enhance our online experience.
  8. Produce wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that depict website layout and functionalities.
  9. Develop a comprehensive UI design strategy in line with our global clientele’s preferences.

Qualifications:

  1. A Bachelor’s degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
  2. Proven track record as a Website Designer or similar role.
  3. Proficiency in WordPress, CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, React, Sass, and PHP.
  4. Strong portfolio showcasing responsive web design work and projects.
  5. Familiarity with web design software and tools such as Adobe Suite, Sketch, Figma, or similar.
  6. Exceptional grasp of user-centered design and UI best practices.
  7. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  8. Outstanding collaboration skills and the capacity to defend design choices while being receptive to feedback.
  9. Detail-oriented with an unwavering commitment to producing refined, functional designs.
